The new Original IC represents the pinnacle in our coaxial cable design process. Developed to transmit analogue, digital and various video signals with utmost quality, it is a highly tailored interconnect with a rated 75 Ohm wave impedance and improved EMI protection. A 3-layer CAFPE insulation sits over the enlarged 0.70 mm² (19 x 0.23 mm) multi-stranded BRC conductor. The major evolution is the advanced 2-layer shield. Instead of a copper foiled PET the inner layer is performed of solid 50 µ rolled copper foil, while a >90% BRC braid forms the outer layer. The double antistatic SPVC jacket allowing a high mechanical damping ratio is colored with a refined formula of organic dye. These significant dielectric and shielding properties elevate coaxial design to a previously unattainable performance level and set the Original IC high above their Standard counterparts as well as most of competitors, yielding vastly increased definition, clarity and colour perception. Each instrument, performer or group is precisely imaged with a warm and rich presence. Available on spools and in standard terminated lengths, fitted with the new compact precision-made Special V2 RCA plug.
